WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HOCKY MOM AND A PITBULL? LIPSTICK.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Uh Oh. Sara Palin blew into Minnetonka tonite like a big noise from Winnetka ,and, as the Brooklyn Queens would say, "Miss Thing surved it to the children!"

Whatever you (and the idiot pundits on Larry King Live , btw, Larry King "Live", is that not an oxymoron?) and I may think of this gun totin', baby factory, she's badass!

Like the spite child of Anastasia Beaverhausen and Suzanne Sugarbaker, Palin comes at you with her AK-47 on spew. "Hockey mom" my ass. I watched Governor Palin tear us a new one and I honestly didn't know whether to hide under the sheets or shout "you go you bad bitch!". She is a total Bitch. And I mean that in the best way possible. I'm talking Endora level Bitch. Somewhere in hell Bette Davis and Joan Crawford have finally found something they can agree on, Sara Palin is the new Uber-Bitch!

And guess what? That's exactly why she's the biggest threat we face in the upcoming election. She makes Darth Cheney look like a castrated Laura Ingraham.

God, is there a chainsaw big enough for that job?

I digress.

Palin let our candidate have it over and over. I hope that when Obama responds to her speech he brings a blade. A long, really sharp blade. Actually, Barack, you might want to make real nicey with Hillary for this one. Send her out with orders to slice and dice. Really. Hill is the only one who has the huevos grande to go up against this one.

Sorry Joe Biden. This is a big boys fight.

Godzilla vs. Mothra.

I have to go to bed. Warily. I might have to wash some Percs down with a box of Night Train to make it past the night sweats that this Veterana is gonna give me.

I've sent out the following questions. When I wake up (under my bed screaming) I will post any responses I get throughout the day.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

JUST A FEW QUESTIONS

1/ What was your opinion of Governor Palin before the speech/

2/ Did the speech change your opinion of her?

3/ Did your decision on who you will vote for change because of the speech?

4/ What is your opinion of the speech?

5/ Should the Democrats worry about Governor Palin now, after her speech?

6/ Governor Palin made quite a few comments in a sardonic way about Barack Obamas qualifications to be President. Did any of those comments hit him "where it hurts"?

7/ How should the Dems respond to the Governors speech?

8/ Does the Palin families personal troubles/issues matter to you and if so why?

9/ Are the families of the candidates off limits?

10/ Is Cindy McCains personal fortune off limits?

11/ Since she has been a forceful campaigner for Senator Obama, is Michelle Obama off limits?

12/ Best part of Governor Palins' speech?

13/ Worst part?

14/ Will Hillary Clinton backers now switch over to McCain?

15/ Did she make you pee your pants, just a little?

I'm a fellow blogger, and I hate seeing a blank comments page... so tho I doubt you'll be thrilled with my answers, be thrilled that soemone took a shot.

1/ What was your opinion of Governor Palin before the speech/

Favorable, she sounds like someone with the cojones to go after the entrenched guys in her own party... I hope she helps clean house in that cesspool we call DC.

2/ Did the speech change your opinion of her?

Yep... enforced the idea that I hope she gets into national office. She's wasted just serving Alaska.

3/ Did your decision on who you will vote for change because of the speech?

Naah, I realistically woulda voted for McCain despite reservations about his previous 2nd Amendment positions, but the addition of a girl that grew up with firearms did my Texas heart good.

4/ What is your opinion of the speech?

She did to Obama what dogs do to fire hydrants... I wouldnt pick a fight with this chick.

5/ Should the Democrats worry about Governor Palin now, after her speech?

Only for about the next 8 weeks. After the election they just need to get used to a female VP.

6/ Governor Palin made quite a few comments in a sardonic way about Barack Obamas qualifications to be President. Did any of those comments hit him "where it hurts"?

Just as Obama personally chose to refer to the governor of Alsaka as a mayor. He shouldnt get pissed... his VP and Hillary said much worse about his readiness.

7/ How should the Dems respond to the Governors speech?

Well, prayer might be advisable if they can still do that without breaking any rules.

8/ Does the Palin families personal troubles/issues matter to you and if so why?

Not unless her pregnant 17 yr old is running for national office. Does the fact that Obama plans to take back DC from the lobbyists bother Biden, whose son is a lobbyist?

9/ Are the families of the candidates off limits?

The minor children oughta be, other than that I guess it depends on whether the subject matter is pertinent. Based on the answer above I can see why Biden might like to avoid the subject entirely.

10/ Is Cindy McCains personal fortune off limits?

No, but dont forget that the Dems have to disavow their last Presidential candidate in order to consider it a problem. Does the name Heinz ring a bell?

11/ Since she has been a forceful campaigner for Senator Obama, is Michelle Obama off limits?

Not in my opinion... I consider it rather pertinent that she slipped and admitted her feelings about our country.

12/ Best part of Governor Palins' speech?

When she said being mayor was kinda like being a community organizer... only with actual responsibilities. I hope Barack enjoyed his jab, seeing as how she used it to clean his clock afterward.
13/ Worst part?

14/ Will Hillary Clinton backers now switch over to McCain?

I realize the conventional wisdom says no... but a look at hillaryclintonforum.net says otherwise. I'm as baffled as you are. Maybe Obama should have made a few more efforts to reach out. Those women want his head on a plate.

LOL! Thanks Robjones, yes, it sucks to have no comments.

I can't disagree with your assesments. As a Democrat I really hope the big whigs "get it".

1) I had no opinion at all. She seemed grimy with a pretty face on.

2) It reinforced that she's grimy with a pretty face on. She seems cool enough in her own right, though.

3)Nope. Obama all the way.

4) I'd be interested to see how she holds up in debate. I doubt she wrote much of that speech, which may have been a crutch. Bip UPS to writer though. Wow.

5) It's no different - it's regular politics. The top of the ticket plays nice and takes soft jabs, the veep gets to be more hardcore. Kinda textbook, no?

6) Obama has been getting pot shots from jump. I think it's ok. She was definitely more hardcore than the democrats were to this point. I think it will get interesting now.

7) Respond to the lies in her speech. Palin said he didn't have anything to do with passing not one law. That's incorrect. See here for more:

http://www.americablog.com/2008/09/sarah-palin-meets-and-lies-to-america.html

8) It matters to me in the sense that she wants to preach from Washington what she couldn't even get to work in her own home. Whatever - make your daughter marry the guy.

9) Yes and no. Yes, ONLY when the family is evidence contrary to the candidate's statements. And then, only in general terms and not defamatory to the children at all.

10) I don't get it. Off limits to whom? To me? Yes.

11) She can defend herself - she ain't no joke.

12) When she said being mayor was sorta like being a community organizer ... although I don't agree with her point, she served it.

13) The kid licking her palms to clean her brother's head.

14) Who the hell knows. lol.

(oh, and word verification keeps peiople from commenting - I suggest turning it off and see what happens)
